Celebrate 250 years of freedom with OMB!
We are so excited for the 250th Anniversary of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. We’ve created a scavenger hunt for guests to learn some Charlotte history while competing for a grand prize! We hear there’s complimentary beer involved too (21+)!
Clues will be released on the morning of Saturday May 17th via social media and on our website!
SCAVENGER HUNT RULES:
Solve clues that lead your team to 5 historical sites around the Queen City!
Your group must take a photo at each of the locations to compete for the grand prize.
If starting at the LoSo biergarten/taproom, you will receive an OMB sticker to take photos with at each location. If not starting at the biergarten, teams will use the logo page on the clues site to take photos with.
Clues will be released on May 17th!
HELPFUL TIPS:
1. Your group does not have to start at OMB. You may start wherever is convenient for your group!
2. Hunt starts at 11 AM. You must return by 3 PM to qualify for the grand prize
3. Locations can be found in any order
4. Once you've taken all 5 photos, return to the LoSo taproom for a complimentary beer (21+) and live music from 1–4 PM
5. Be on the lookout for re-enactors
6. All ages are welcome!
